The Fallen
Alone in a hole
trapped untill death
subjected to torture
losing his breath

Torn from his wings
never to fly
bleeding all over
he wished he could die

His will was diminished
no strength left to fight
he closed his eyes tightly;
looked into the light

Then it was before him
the angelic sight
picked him up gently
then it took flight

Closer to the light
higher they flew
he was feeling more comfort
then he ever knew

He fell into a slumber
while among the great light
his body gone forever
while his soul reached new hights

Oh man, this was my favourite cartoon ever as a kid! I used to watch it every weekend. Brooklyn was always my fav!
